Série Fargo :: Fargo Tv show

Já viste algum episódio da série Fargo? Nunca vi o filme que lhe deu origem mas a série viciou-me deste o primeiro episódio! Depois do Breaking Bad ter acabado acho que é a melhor série que apareceu. As personagens deixam-me sentimentos ambiguos. Por um lado parecem-me soturnos e perigosos, por outro acho-os ligeiramente cómicos ou inocentes. Morro por ver o episódio desta semana! E vocês? Que outras séries andam a ver por estes dias?

Have you've been watching the new Fargo Tv show? I never saw the movie but I'm loving the Tv show since its first episode. After Breaking Bad I think this is the best Tv show series that has came out. The characters are so ambiguous. On one hand they look creepy and dangerous, on the other hand they look innocent and funny. I really into it. Can't wait to see this week's episode! What other shows are you watching these days?

¿Has visto algún episodio de la serie Fargo? Nunca vi la película que dio origen a la serie, pero la serie me enganchó en el primer episodio! Después de haber terminado Breaking Bad creo que esta es la mejor serie que apareció. Los personajes me dejan sentimientos ambiguos. Por un lado me parecen sombríos y peligrosos, por otro lado me parecen divertidos, inocentes y les quiero. Me muero por ver el episodio de esta semana! ¿Qué otras series estás viendo por estos días?

 

George Clooney & Dr. House em Valencia

Adivinhem!?! George Clooney e o Dr. House (actor Hugh Laurie) estão a filmar o último filme da Disney (Tomorrowland) em Valência! Como cenário têm a futurista cidade das Artes e das Ciências do arquitecto Santiago Calatrava (aqui). Eu sei...eu sei... Nasci em Portugal e eu não estou habituada a ter grandes estrelas de Hollywood por perto. Imagino que, por estes dias, as lojas Nespresso de Valência estejam  completamente cheias de mulheres todas a sonhar com o seu momento "What else?":

Guess what? George Clooney and Dr. House (actor Hugh Laurie) are filming Tomorrowland (for Disney) in Valencia! They are filming at Santiago Calatravas's futuristic City of Arts and Sciences (here). I know...I know...I was born in Portugal and I'm not used to be around big Hollywood stars. I imagine Valencia's Nespresso stores being full of women this days. I picture them all waiting for their "What else?" moment. hehehehe ;)

Están filmando en la futurista Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias de Santiago Calatravas (aqui). Lo sé...lo sé...Yo he nascido en Portugal y no estoy acostumbrada a tener cerca grandes estrellas de Hollywood. Como já vos tinha dito (aqui) sou fã incondicional do mito "Chuck Norris". 

É no que dá ser casada com um Físico (a cromisse é contagiosa).

Sobre Hitchcock :: About Hitchcock

Quando era criança os meus pais faziam sessões de cinema com amigos. Eu ficava sempre a dormitar no colo de alguém e foi numa dessas sessões que conheci Hitchcock. Lembro-me perfeitamente da "Janela Indiscreta" e que depois de ver o filme quiz dormir na varanda, passei a sonhar com poder ter uma cesta para baixar o cão ao jardim e acima de tudo queria um cão que coubesse numa cesta. Muitos anos mais tarde a Sic Mulher passou a série "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour" e fiquei vidrada com aquelas introduções do Sr. Alfred:


When I was a child my parents organized film sessions with friends. I was always dozing on someone's lap and it was in one of those film sessions that I first met Hitchcock. I perfectly remember "Rear Window" and how after seeing the movie I wanted to sleep out on the porch, how I started to dream about having a basket to lower the dog to the garden and most of all how I wanted a dog that would fit in a basket. Many years later a portuguese tv channel came up with "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour" and I was amazed by Mr. Alfred Hitchcock indroducing them:

Agora com o filme "Hitchcock" passei a conhecer a pessoa difícil que Hitchcock era e acima de tudo fiquei a conhecer Alma. O filme presta homenagem à mulher que seguiu lado a lado com Hitchcock de forma invisivel. Percebemos que sem ela o genio de Hitchcock nunca se teria tornando a lenda que se tornou. Senti uma afinidade louca pela Sra Alma Hitchcock. 
Entretanto o Hugo mostrou este discurso de agradecimento de Hitchcock:

Now with the film "Hitchcock" I discovered Hitchcock's bad temper and most important of all I disovered Alma. The film pays tribute to the woman who walked Hitchcock through success and that  was always there...invisible. We realize that without Alma the genius of Hitchcock would never have become the legend he became. I immediately felt a mad affinity for Mrs Alma Hitchcock.
 
After that Hugo showed Hitchcock's AFI speech:

Recordar Audrey Hepburn :: Remembering Audrey Hepburn

Faz hoje 20 anos que faleceu Audrey Hepburn. De todas a divas de Hollywood esta é sem dúvida a única que me marcou. Porquê? Pelo facto de ter feito Ballet como eu, pela sua delicadeza, por aquele estilo que a tornou num ícon de moda, por aquela beleza tão feminina, por aquelas imagens de vespa em Roma, pela sua generosidade e humanidade e acima de tudo por um dos filmes que me fez pintar muitíssimos quadros: o filme "Como roubar um milhão". Na verdade acho que nenhuma rapariga lhe fica indiferente. 

Por isso neste domingo chuvoso quiz recordar a que é, para mim, a mais elegante diva de Hollywood:
 Audrey Hepburn.

20 years ago Audrey Hepburn died. Of all the old divas of Hollywood she is undoubtedly the only one I really admired. Why? Because she've done Ballet as I've done it too, for her delicacy, for her style that soon became a fashion icon, for her feminine beauty, for those images in Roman Holiday, for her generosity and humanity and above all....for one of the movies that made ​​me paint like I do today: "How to Steal a Million". Actually I think that no girl could be indifferent to Audrey Hepburn's glamour. 

So on this rainy Sunday it was time to remember the actress that was, for me, the most elegant diva of Hollywood:
 Audrey Hepburn.
