Por estas bandas Fevereiro é o mês das gripes e nós não fomos excepção! Os Suecos até fazem um trocadilho. Em vez de lhe chamarem "February" chamam-lhe "VABruary". VAB é a abreviatura de "Vård av Barn" que em Suéco significa "ficar em casa com os miúdos todos doentes".
Resumindo: já só sonhamos com o fim do Inverno!
As semanas sem sol somam-se, a chuva, o céu cinzento, o vento frio não deixam grande margem a diversão. Estamos a sul, perto do mar e o que ganhamos em horas de luz relativamente ao norte, perdemos em dias de neve. Ainda assim, quando neva... Parece magia, voltamos a ter ânimo.

The flu swept through our house and knocked us all down like dominoes but everyone says February is officially the Swedish flu season. They even call it "VABruary" instead of "February". VAB is the abbreviation for "Vård Av Barn", which in Swedish means something like "to stay home with sick kids".
We can't but dream about Winter taking a taxi northward!
We are in the south that means we have more daylight hours but less snow than in the north.
Most of the time the weather is just: no sun, gray days, fog, rain and cold wind.
But when it snows... It's mood-boosting!!! ^^
