O SOL chegou a Espanha e pelas notícias que vou tendo, a Portugal também. A Primavera é a minha estação preferida e a única altura em que tenho realmente saudades do Alentejo (zona onde cresci até ir estudar para Lisboa). Aquelas tardes de domingo em que dávamos passeios de bicicleta deixam-me sempre saudades.
SUN arrived to Spain and according the news arrived to Portugal as well. Spring is my favorite season and the only time I really miss the Alentejo (region where I grew up in Portugal before I moved to Lisbon). I'll always miss those biking Sunday afternoons.

No Inverno o Alentejo é frio de morrer e no Verão o calor é tanto que se torna insuportável. É por isso que só sinto saudades dos dias de Primavera no Alentejo. Nesta altura os campos estão todos verdes, cheios de flores e o SOL aquece a temperatura amena e anima-nos. Para quem quiser conhecer o Alentejo (Portugal) esta é a altura certa! Convem levar carro e estar preparado para o silêncio, para a natureza e para conhecer muitas aldeias em que só se encontram velhotes.
In winter the Alentejo is too cold and in the summer is too hot. That's why I only miss the spring days in the Alentejo. This time of the year all the fields are green, full of flowers and the SUN heats the mild temperature and gives us joy. For those who want to find more about Alentejo (in Portugal) Spring is the right time to go! Take car with you and be prepared for the silence, the nature and to meet many lost villages where you'll only find old people.

This video of Virgin Suta with Manuela Azevedo is delicious. You'll find few young people in Alentejo but it's good to see that there are interesting artists from different fields that stay there resisting to the summer heat.
