Entre os meus presentes de aniversário tive a sorte de ter dois livros da ilustradora Rébecca Dautremer: "Elvis" e "Nasredin e o seu Burro".  Fazia muito tempo que me perdia nas livrarias cada vez que encontrava um livro dela, agora posso deliciar-me, estes dois são meu!

Among my birthday presents I was lucky to have two books of Rébecca Dautremer:"Elvis" and "Nasredin and his Donkey". For a long time I saw them in bookstores, now these two are mine!

Rébecca Dautremer é uma belíssima ilustradora francesa. Os seus livros têm uma imagem muito poética, com uma pitada de humor. Encontrando imspiração nos contos de fadas, ela oferece uma nova visão das  histórias com cores quentes.

Rébecca frequentou aulas na ENSAD de Paris e licenciou-se em edição gráfica. Tornou-se  depois editora gráfica e ilustradora. De alguns anos para cá começou a escrever livros de sua autoria. Por estes dias vive em Paris com o marido Tai-Marc Lethanh e seus três filhos. Para além de se dedicar aos seus livros trabalha para a imprensa infantil (Milan-Presse e Fleurus-Presse), para editores escolares, bem como para publicidade. Ora vejam algumas das ilustrações:

Rébecca Dautremer is a brilliant french ilustrator.  Her picture books are very poetic, with a hint of humour. Inspired by fairy tales, she offers new and more entertaining stories.

Rébecca attended classes in the ENSAD of Paris and got a degree in graphic edition. She afterwards became a graphic editor and illustrator. A few years ago, she started to write books of her own. Now living in Paris with her husband Taï-Marc Lethanh and their three children, she also works for the press for children (Milan-Presse and Fleurus-Presse), school publishers, and in advertising.  Take a look:
